The No.1 surface is a dull, non‑reflective pickled finish with stable mechanical property, high‑temperature resistance and excellent corrosion resistance. It is the ideal raw material for further cutting, bending, forging, welding and deep processing.
8K Mirror (No.8) stainless steel coil is high‑grade polished cold‑rolled stainless steel coil, manufactured by multi‑stage fine grinding and buffing on 2B / BA base material to achieve glass‑like specular reflection, clear image reflection, low haze and uniform gloss across the whole coil. As the premium decorative stainless steel finish, it is widely selected by fabricators, elevator factories, architectural contractors and signage makers. Unlike matte 2B, HL hairline or No.1 hot‑rolled surfaces, the 8K mirror finish features an ultra‑smooth surface and excellent decorative performance while retaining the original corrosion resistance and ductility. HL hairline stainless steel coil, also known as long‑line brushed stainless steel coil, is processed from premium 2B or BA cold‑rolled substrate with continuous abrasive belt grinding to create fine, uniform, straight hair‑like linear grain across the whole coil. Compared with No.4 short‑brush finish, HL features longer, smoother and more elegant streaks, widely adopted for mid‑to‑high‑end architectural and elevator decoration projects. The hairline surface effectively hides minor scratches and fingerprints for easier daily maintenance than 8K mirror finish. PVD colored HL coil (gold, rose gold, black titanium, champagne) is available upon request.
BA (Bright Annealed, marked as 2R in EN 10088‑2) stainless steel coil is premium cold‑rolled stainless steel coil annealed in oxygen‑free protective atmosphere without pickling. It delivers an ultra‑smooth, bright, highly reflective mill surface, brighter than standard 2B finish. As base material for further polishing into 8K mirror, HL hairline and colored decorative surfaces, it features lower surface roughness, cleaner surface, fewer defects and superior cleanability, ideal for sanitary and food‑grade applications. A protective PE film is laminated to prevent scratches during slitting, stamping, bending and shipment.
2B finish stainless steel coil is the most widely‑used cold‑rolled stainless steel coil in global industry. Produced by cold rolling, annealing, pickling/descaling and light skin‑pass rolling with polished rolls, it delivers a smooth, uniform semi‑matte surface with moderate reflectivity and Ra 0.1‑0.5μm. As a universal base finish, it can be further processed into HL hairline, No.4 brushed, 8K mirror, PVD colored or embossed surfaces. It combines excellent corrosion resistance, good formability, stable flatness and competitive cost, ideal for bending, deep drawing, stamping, welding and decoiling operations.
