Most end‑users cannot directly use original mill‑size materials. Secondary processing turns large‑size raw materials into sheets, strips, custom‑length pieces that match actual drawing requirements. The processing capacity of suppliers will directly influence whether you can obtain products that fully meet dimensional tolerance and surface standards.

Our production workshop at Wuxi Dasheng Alloy Steel is equipped with complete sets of processing equipment for stainless steel and nickel‑based alloy materials. Common processing procedures we handle include coil slitting, plate leveling, shearing, cutting‑to‑length, surface polishing and other custom treatments. These devices are suitable for regular stainless steel grades like 304, 316L, 321, 430, as well as high‑hardness nickel‑based alloy materials.

Slitting process mainly deals with stainless steel coils. Large‑width raw coils are slit into narrow strips of required width. This is widely used for manufacturing hardware parts, pipe fittings and stamping components. Precision control during slitting is critical: poor‑quality slitting may cause burrs on strip edges, which will bring hidden risks for subsequent stamping and welding work. Our operators strictly control edge quality during slitting for both stainless steel and nickel‑alloy strips.

Leveling and cutting‑to‑length process transforms steel coils into flat sheets. After leveling treatment, material flatness meets international ASTM and EN tolerance standards. Customers can specify sheet length and width according to project drawings. For nickel‑based alloys with special mechanical properties, processing parameters need fine‑tuning to avoid material deformation during leveling.

Besides size processing, surface finish is also a key processing item. Different application scenarios require No.1, 2B, BA or polished surface. Our workshop can deliver corresponding surface finishes as per buyer requirements.

Many overseas buyers wonder whether they should purchase raw materials and find local processors, or source finished processed products directly from China. Working with a one‑stop supplier has obvious advantages: all processing links are completed under unified quality management. Each batch will be inspected after processing, and Mill Test Certificate will be issued together with goods. It avoids quality inconsistency brought by multiple‑party cooperation.

Before starting processing, please provide detailed technical requirements: dimension tolerance, edge condition, surface finish and special notes for nickel‑alloy material. Our engineers will evaluate processing feasibility for your project.
